Tech Reporter
For my tech reporter I did mine using Prezi. Prezi, unlike any other software you use when you are giving out presentations is cloud based. So when I first tried to use it, I have no clue how to make the different information connect together. And although I did watch the tutorial videos, I still founded it hard, I even thought about giving up and just using the ones that I was familiar with. But as I kept trying more about it, I started to get it, and I also enjoyed working on it as much as I did researching about the topic. So now, I think Prezi is an easy software to use, and I will probably use it on any other presentation that I will have to do in the future.
Scratch:
Scratch at the very beginning I was just like the others around me, I was confused, lost and I was doing something else because nobody seems to be working on them. The first question I was thinking when I first downloaded Scratch was: “where do I start?’ Or “How can we make a game from this software?” And at the time when I started to get the sprite moving, I was still wondering about how to make it into a game. So I begin to look online about how people made their scratch games, that’s when I begin making my game.  As I was making my game, I learned that you have to be creative when you are making the game, because a lot of the functions are like for example, “when touching color…, go to sprite …” so when you are doing that you have to keep thinking about how the game is going to work? Where do you go when you get touched by the monster?
Flash:
For my flash, at first I didn’t really have an idea of what I was going to do. So just like before, I thought about basketball and I just did something about it. I remembered at first I only knew how to move something move a little bit, but as I started to learn more about flash and from others around me, I got the whole idea of how to make it into a project.  For example, using the “onion skin” was a new experience and along with other’s support I started to get the hang of it.  Honestly, I have never used any of these software before, so learning something from them is a pretty cool accomplishment.  And even though I only know briefly about how to use these software, I am sure in the future I will get more opportunities to try them again.
HTML:
The HTML project took a lot of team effort, because it order to put a whole webpage together, we needed to know how to write codes, and put images on the website as well. Also, there were others who had their own jobs that they had to accomplish, and mine was to find more information about the topic as well as with a partner put a webpage together. In addition I was not very good at coding, so I relied a lot on others to help me with it. But I did learn some codes as the project progressed.  I also gained a deeper understanding of global warming in the north and south poles.  And I also enjoyed working on the HTML project really much.
Photoshop:
I didn’t liked Photoshop as much as I liked Publisher, because as I learned from the very beginning of this project, there were a lot of difficult steps in order to decorate a picture the way you wanted it to be. And sometimes I found out for some reason, when I learned how to do something and the next time I tried, it never worked the way I wanted it to be anymore.  So those were some of the tough parts about the project, but I thought the people who really knew how to use Photoshop really made their projects amazing. I also think that Photoshop is something that’s worth learning, so I think in the future I may try to learn more about it again.
Publisher:
Honestly, for our publisher project I didn’t remember too much about it, but I thought it was pretty fun, and I spent a good amount of time doing it. But the confusing part about publisher was that since I was doing a brochure, I had some confusion about when you fold it up which picture is on the first page or which is on the back. But some of the other things that I loved about this project was that we could do something in which we liked or something about our interest. So in addition, one of my interests is to watch NBA games, so that’s why for my brochure I did some introduction about that.  Moreover, trying to find the right types of information to put on my brochure was also a very enjoyable time, because I learned more about NBA throughout the entire project.  So all in all, I really enjoyed the project.
